(Grants from WordSong [aka AESS]

WordSong [aka AESS] gives occasional grants to individuals/projects or organisations (such as annual festivals) who share our passion for English Vocal Music and need help funding a project or a recording.

We give grants up to the value of £500

One member of the group or organisation is required to be a member of the AESS [dba WordSong].

Grants have been awarded to the following (among others):

• The London Song Festival
• The London English Song Festival.
• BIFF – British and International Federation of Festivals | For Music, Dance, and Speech
• Projects to individuals who received grants include:
  • CD recording project (Greg Tassel);
  • C.H. Parry projects (William Vann);
  • Premiere of a song cycle at Wigmore Hall (Claire Booth); among other recipients…

To be considered, please apply by 1 September of each year.
